Astar is a sculptural floor lamp whose silhouette evokes the movement of a vertebral column. Carved by hand in walnut, his body draws an “S” curve, punctuated by knots reminiscent of vertebrae. Its lower tip, suspended by an iron blade, gives the room an impression of lightness. A double dome made of iron and embossed brass rests by gravity on a piece of blown borosilicate glass. Its geometry contrasts with the organic curves of wood. The light diffuses around the lamp, mainly downwards, with a luminous opening upward, to accompany a sofa or armchair.
