Maison & Objet 2024

A tribute to Brazilian modernism through sensual lines and the character of materials.

For Maison&Objet 2024, DUISTT envisioned a sophisticated lounge atmosphere inspired by Brazilian design heritage and mid-century aesthetics. Conceived as a warm and liveable interior, the stand combined rich materials, generous volumes, and organic lines within a refined and contrasted composition. The Copacabana 3-Seater Sofa structured the space with its embracing curves, accompanied by the Ipanema Ottomans with solid wood feet and red lacquered finishes, bringing a vibrant sculptural touch to the setting. The Ginga XL Lounge Armchair completed the cozy atmosphere, while the Mirror Clusters introduced a striking contrast through the textured effect of stainless steel and raised brass bolts, creating a dialogue with the soft silhouettes of the seating pieces. Crafted in dark solid wood, the Jacaranda Sideboard anchored the lounge area with a timeless and distinctive presence. Surrounding this central atmosphere, a curated selection of iconic pieces — including the Wormley Bench and Bar Stool, Apollo Bar Stool, Lune V Stool, Escape Stool, Oscar Small Chair, and the Julius Chairs in solid wood and brass — further expressed DUISTT’s vision of craftsmanship, sophistication, and contemporary design.
