WHAT'S NEW? « Modernastic » by François Bernard

In praise of everyday simplicity. François Bernard focuses on a form of modernity that loves minimalism and uncluttered spaces, and elevates shapes and reaffirms the sensual power of materials. Thus emerges a "feeling for things" that unites all our senses and reinforces our perception of an object. A certain form of spirituality without religion guides a creative spirit that is simple, comfortable, minimal, and poetic, where raw beauty rubs shoulders with a rigorous aesthetic.

François Bernard, Founder and President of the agency Croisements
Passionate about architecture and objects, François Bernard is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. He has worked for more than 25 years as artistic director and consultant for trade shows in the textile and home decoration industries. He collaborates with manufacturers, distribution channels specialized in furnishing and decoration, in France and internationally. He studies the evolutions of style, tastes and behaviors and analyses the transformation of consumer desires. This structural approach drives the evolution of his client’s collections. As a designer or a consultant, he creates but also brings together talents for specific projects. The current evolution of his work reinforces his concern for good product communication. Through the conception of a collection to its final development, he ensures its valorization by staging the store displays, rethinking presentations according to seasonality and actuality. The diversity of his eye looks for a cohesiveness through human and sensitive objects whether technical or rustic, historical or contemporary. For the Digital Fair, François will participate in the « WHAT'S NEW? » CREATIVE EVOLUTIONS FW 2020/21 with François Delclaux and Elizabeth Leriche by presenting a selection of new products drawn from the collections of brands present on the MOM platform.
