IN SEARCH OF A TREE’S THIRD LEASE OF LIFE
Product description
In this series, we use post-consumer wood, blending our design and electronic touch control technology to craft detailed, sustainable wooden lamps. When a tree is cut, it marks its second life. Once wooden products complete their intended use, we aim to seek their third life through design. We go beyond recycled pallets, wood from old Taiwanese homes, and retired wooden crossarms from telegraph poles. In an experimental approach, we slice recycled wood into 1mm veneers. This enables us to create elegant lighting fixtures through wood veneer bending, showcasing a commitment to sustainability.
