Created by Studioparisien for Philippe Hurel, the Yumi sofa takes its name from the traditional Japanese arch with an asymmetric shape inspired by its curved silhouette. The manufacture uses this principle of arc using a solid curved wood structure and veneered panels, allowing upholsterers to lay the foam, and to carve the iconic shape of the Yumi.
