Tai Ping presents “Migration” designed in 1959 by George Nakashima for Edward Fields, from the Nakashima Edition. Representing a directional stylized flight of birds on a split background, this design was never manufactured as a rug but with the help of the Nakashima family and George Nakashima’s notes found on the drawing, the Edward Fields team was able to do an interpretation using primary colors for the birds on a grey background, which was crafted in silk and natural wools. All designs in this edition are expertly hand-tufted by skilled artisans.
