A Canadian porcelain artist working at Kouraku Kiln in Arita. She first came to Kyushu to learn neriage at Sougama, and later settled in Arita for good, drawn by the history of Hizen and by Japanese nature. Her speciality is underglaze painting and very small objects.

She paints what most people walk past: insects, plants, the detail at the edge of the field of vision. Drawing came to her early as the readiest way of saying things, and her work is a record of how she sees what is around her.
