Vidro tableware

Product description

The Vidro collection was created by the studio of Walid Onsy, an Egyptian glass artist and assistant professor of applied arts at Helwan University. He is one of the few artists in the Middle East who specializes in fused glass technique. In this technique, the drawing is painted by hand on a sheet of glass and another one is placed over it. Both are placed on top of a mould, and are then melted in the oven to the desired shape. Finally, the artwork is polished to eliminate sharp edges and imperfections.
