MYB was founded in 1900 as an exclusive manufacturer of Scottish Leno Gauze weave, later known as Scottish Madras and are the only mill in the world producing clipped Madras sheer fabric. At the heart of each MYB Madras product is specialist skill and tradition, each with its own piece of history. 'Madras' became a generic term inspired by the product's wide distribution throughout the city of Madras in India in the 1940's. The fabric is predominantly woven with 100% Egyptian cotton, but can easily have wool, Lurex, Viscose or coloured cottons in the patterning added to enhance the designs.Product specifications
