ANCOU is a bamboo deign craft brand that has been handed down in Shizuoka. In the Edo period, it became popular with insect cages, and in modern times, it makes daily necessities from lighting to small items.

The brand begins with the manual production of round bamboo sticks using locally managed bamboo in Shizuoka, and craftsmen make each product one by one. We continue to make everyday items from many genres such as small insect accessories, accessory containers, candle holders, lighting fixtures, etc., while preserving the old traditions and matching modern life.
