At the heart of CasaLatina is a passion for showcasing the beauty and brilliance of Latin American craft. Founders and lifelong friends Sharon and Aleja work directly with over 60 artisans from nine communities across Colombia and Venezuela – the countries they grew up in. Their collections take you on a journey through these regions, revealing the magical makers, minds and methods behind each piece, from a free-hand painter in Ponedera to a master woodworker in Guadalupe or an indigenous weaver in Cauca. Every item is handmade and reflects the founders’ mission to preserve ancient artistry.
