Poncho lourenco in organic wool and cotton

Our Lourenco blanket is made of a beautiful blend of organic wool (warp) and organic cotton (weft). The fabric has been woven on a 150year old machine operated by weave masters who are part of a circular community (sheep, farmers, factory) based in a beautiful valley in the center of Serra da Estrela in the green heart of Portugal. The colors used are off white (warp) red and navy (weft). The Plaid has a red selvedge running along the blanket and carries a small, decent, woven label. This plaid is designed in the Netherlands on the doorstep of another National Park called De Hoge Veluwe. .
