Simplicity is often born from necessity. In this case, we wanted to design a table built purely from connected slabs, making it highly producible with minimal waste from leftover parts. Designing from this starting point also provides an interesting angle when it comes to form: a robust, bunker-like look and feel, yet at the same time space-generating and air-permeable because of the deliberate opening in the middle.Lloyd was named after the great Frank Lloyd Wright, one of the most influential architects in design history, known for blending functionality with organic harmony.
