Carnelian, circa 1950’s India traded into West Africa, bronze antique hairpiece, circa 1900’s in the lost wax method (Hausa tribe, Nigeria) The cord is silk and the tassel cotton. They are the rosary, the mala, the tesbih and komboloi ‘worry bead’, our common talisman. Place it where you will see it, for its energy to permeate.
