“Colour is a power which directly influences the soul” stated Wassily Kandinsky. Colour interaction is at the very heart of this collection. We have taken southern Persian tribal motifs and designs, such as trees and squares, and created a painterly collection rich in colour. And yet, there is a third dimension to these creations… they are inspired in style by modernist stained-glass windows. This Zollanvari Studio design takes elements from our Gabbehs Geometric, in particular the Squares Revisited Collection, to deliver what we feel is an ethereal, soulful quality to any interior.
