Vineyard – TUUCI Collection at the Luxurious Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay
Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, a luxury 5-star resort, is situated directly on the beach of Talamanca Bay, offering an oasis of calm on 'the island that never sleeps'. A total of more than 100 TUUCI parasols in different designs and sizes ensure that guests can enjoy pleasant shade at the pool and in the beach restaurant.
Recognised as Best Newcomer Hotel 2017 by the Small Luxury Hotels Association, the hotel offers 152 designer rooms and suites, a Six Senses spa area, as well as four restaurants and bars where guests can relax and enjoy the resort’s calm elegance. Two freshwater pools are located in the outdoor area. In the lounging zones around the pools, the Vineyard Classic parasols from US-manufacturer TUUCI provide pleasant shade. The outdoor area of the restaurant is furnished with the side post Vineyard Cantilever models. Both TUUCI designs impress with their robustness and their exclusive masts made of Dura-TEAK, a synthetic material with an organic and natural wood appeal that integrates harmonically with the furnishing of the Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay. The durable material from the marine industry has the advantage of not needing any maintenance. With a glass fibre opening system and flexible ribs, the entire Vineyard collection is ideal for use in coastal areas with strong winds. The robust white Sunbrella® fabrics are reinforced with double seams to avoid wear and tear. “We took inspiration from the natural materials you find on Ibiza and from the spectacular colours in which the island is shrouded, particularly in the evening hours. We wanted to create a relaxing and natural, but also luxurious ambiance”, says Pilar García de Gonzalo, the project director of Room 1804 Design who was responsible for the hotel’s interior design.
