AS'ART A SENSE OF CRAFTS : Collections

Our Vallon collection, made in France, is made of a beautiful worsted yarn from the blend of two extraordinary 100% merino fibers: Arles Merino, the fleece of a breed of sheep raised in the plains of Camargue and Crau, and Portugal Merino, from the Alentejo farms in southern Portugal. An initial mottled mixture (ecru and brown) is then dyed. Thanks to this process we obtain mottled plaids and cushions, tone on gray, with a deep, cloudy and milky density. The Merino used is a four strand yarn, soft, elegant and subtle.
