Keeping the charm of a single solid slab, the table features legs boldly crafted from logs. Finding the right balance for such a top was a challenge, but the use of round logs finally felt right. The natural power and bold grain of keyaki wood are highlighted, with black butterfly joints adding contrast and preventing cracks. Finishing even the unseen areas was demanding, yet every detail was refined to honor the wood’s character—a piece that balances the raw strength of nature with human craftsmanship.
