KAMAWANU is specialised in the making of Tenugui, a hand-dyed rectangular cloth traditionally used in Japan as functional everyday housewares.Drawing on its unique tradition of Japanese hand-dyeing techniques, Kamawanu first introduced “Scarf BY KAMAWANU”, a collection of vividly coloured scarves, to the international market in 2014.Due to the unique qualities of the hand-dyeing technique the scarves are also reversible since the pattern appears both on the front and reverse sides.
