Flame Away produces and sells innovative throwable fire-extinguishing tools. By making it a design piece, we increase fire safety by placing a quick and easy-to-use tool within arms reach of the user, drastically increasing fire safety.

Flame Away is a science-based startup, collaborating with universities and fire departments in the Netherlands to produce a reliable and easy to use throwable fire extinguishing tool. This product is designed to be easily recognised and thrown, whilst it is incorporated in the interior, making it easy to spot in case of an emergency but also good to look at. This allows the user to react quickly, therefore increasing the chance of extinguishing the fire or escaping. The Flame Away is made of sustainable materials, requires no maintenance and can be recycled after use.
