Gwangju Institue of Design Promotion is an institution with the aim of promoting regional design industries.

We do Craft Promotion, Design promotions, researches and educations for the university students. HwaTak studio has been working as a ceramic craftsman for 6 years since he founded an workshop in 2014 under the name of HwaTak, meeting that a bowl made out of soil looks like a flower on the table. Tesoro also sews fibres in a textile workshop to make crafts, and sometimes works on various textiles that add paintings. Tesoro is a Spanish word that means tresure, wealth, property, etc. As a person who likes old thing and works with interest in old timess.
