Mindful creation Leads to mindful consumption

Anavila means "pure " in Sanskrit and is based on the Indian ethos of mindful living. Established in 2011, the brand has continued to explore cultural sustainability across the country working on craft practices, natural resources and prevailing lifestyle in the last few years. Our work with the Dabu Block printers of Bagru, Applique Artisans of Dumka and Jamdani Weavers of Shantipur is an ongoing inquiry in this direction. In many ways these products crafted with ancient knowledge and a mix of new and old materials have an element of past life and are living repositories.
