Settled in Tahiti since 1987, Michèle Pécheur launched her first interior design and furniture store in 2003. She fell in love with the "Tifaifai", traditional polynesian bedspread, and started designing her own Tifaifai models where exotic vegetal and floral environment is overwhelming. While the local touch remains obvious in her creative work, it progressively evolves by weaving and insetting new materials and various embrodery technics to explore and meet the global market
