Trained by a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Crafstmen in France) in seat carpentry, Sacha Tognolli created his cabinet making workshop in Nancy, Eastern France. He wishes to reconcile functional design and ornamentation to emphasize this purity.
Sublimating ancestral techniques with a contemporary touch is his leitmotiv. Captivated by the tradition of joinery, he also became aware of the power of light in art after his time in a glass arts center. Sacha Tognolli uses the transparency of resin to lift the mystery of these assemblies, true carriers of meaning. By playing with color, he gives a very particular identity to his works.
