Coloras is a flat-woven rug made entirely by hand on the traditional vertical loom of Nule, Sardinia, in 100% Sardinian wool, warp and weft. On a ground of natural undyed grey wool, wavy bands of mustard, rust, leaf green, deep blue and charcoal run across the rug, each one dotted with small diamond motifs in a contrasting colour. Designed by Eugenia Pinna and woven by a master weaver of Nule, it is a one of a kind piece. Double-sided, about 4 to 5 mm thick, finished with wool fringes. Its 81 x 165 cm format suits a bedside, an entrance or a hallway. Colours: a mix of natural and conventional dyes, with yellow from buckthorn leaves and natural grey wool.
