Rugs and tapestries handwoven in Sardinian wool on the vertical loom of Nule
Textile designer from Nule, Sardinia, Eugenia Pinna has spent more than thirty years creating rugs and tapestries woven entirely by hand in Sardinian wool, on the traditional vertical loom, with the weavers of her village. Her patterns reinterpret the geometry of Sardinian blankets with a contemporary eye, often in natural dyes. Every piece is unique and can be made to order. Solo exhibition at Spazio Ilisso, Nuoro (2024); commissions for Bruno Moinard Éditions and Tino Zervudachi & Associés.
