Portospino Giallo is a horizontal wall panel handwoven in Nule, Sardinia, on a traditional loom. Two wide fields of mustard yellow frame a narrow central band. It is made of fine stripes in natural white, charcoal, red, coral and blue, with a line of small coloured lozenges along the centre and braided chevron edges in red, green, orange, blue and purple. Woven in Sardinian wool with a mix of natural undyed tones and dyed yarns. A single, graphic piece to hang above a sideboard, a bed or a sofa, alone or as a series with Portospino Azzurro and Portospino Nerino. Handmade, so small variations are part of each piece.
